At PPS International BV, we are dedicated to providing high-quality industrial valve solutions tailored to our clients' critical needs. In this edition of our project highlights, we showcase a recent project for a client in the energy sector, where PPS supplied three large strainers for a steam application: 1x16", 1x14", and 1x12" in Carbon Steel A216 WCB, all with flanges in pressure class 300#. The urgency of this project was driven by the need to have these strainers installed on time to restart the steam system. Given the unique specifications and the difficulty of sourcing strainers of this size and pressure class in the market, PPS leveraged its extensive supplier network to secure stock availability. Additionally, we arranged full export documentation, including Certificate of Origin, attested invoices, EXA, ATR, and CMR, ensuring smooth customs clearance for shipment to Uzbekistan.

A top-urgent order for a 2” Krohne Magnetic Inductive Flowmeter was successfully fulfilled for a client in the plastic recycling industry. The flowmeter was crucial for restarting a part of the production site after the holidays. Any delays in its delivery would have caused significant project setbacks. PPS worked closely with the supplier and end user to ensure all parties were informed and aligned, leading to an impressive delivery time of just two weeks.

For a wastewater pipeline project in the nutrition industry in the Netherlands, PPS delivered a special DN 100 ORBINOX Knife Gate Valve. This bi-directional wafer-type knife gate valve featured flanges according to EN 1092-2 PN 10, a stainless steel CF8M (1.4408) body, and a stainless steel AISI 316 (1.4401) slide. What made this project unique was the integration of a SMC Electro Pneumatic Positioner a non-standard option for this type of valve, adding precision and control to the system. From requirement gathering to approved design and on-time delivery of the pneaumatic valve with some hand operated valves the project was a succes.
